Portfolio Manager/Founder

Steve Maltby

Steve founded Three Bridge in 2013 and is responsible for investment strategy and direction of the global portfolio.

Steve’s industry experience spans equity and credit trading, fundamental research and ECM. He developed a passion for the stock market early in his career and through learning from many mistakes, has refined his approach to investing and risk taking, which has enabled him to deliver consistent returns for Three Bridge Capital’s clients. Prior to managing Three Bridge Capital, Steve worked in equity research/sales for Bell Potter securities, focusing on special situations within the Australian equity market.

Steve has a Bachelor of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and is a CFA charterholder.

Equity Portfolio Manager

Ge Zhu

Ge joined Three Bridge in 2019 and is responsible for global equity investment selection and portfolio management.

Ge has 15 years experiences in asset management, focusing on fundamental and quantitative research analysis and trading.

Ge has a MSc of Applied/Financial Mathematics from London School of Economics (LSE) and is a CFA charterholder.

Credit Portfolio Manager

Ray Wepener

Ray has over 20 years industry experience spanning credit trading and structuring in both Asia and Europe.

Prior to joining, Ray was an Executive Director at Haitong International Securities in Hong Kong, where he established and headed structured credit trading. He traded Asian credit on the buy and sell side, as well as managing significant portfolios comprising illiquid and private credit positions.

He spent the preceding 9 years trading on credit proprietary desks at both Woori Securities and Standard Bank in Hong Kong. Ray has been responsible for the management and overarching strategy of the offshore global proprietary credit trading businesses, managing pan Asian credit strategies across the region.

Ray’s European experience included structuring and trading complex credit derivatives in London and Germany.

Ray holds an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance from CASS Business School in London and a BComm in International & Monetary Economics from University of South Africa.

Equity Portfolio Manager

Stephen Clarke

Steve has 20+ years’ experience in financial markets, commencing his capital markets career with Macquarie Bank in equity operations before joining Arnott Capital, a global asset manager investing in liquid assets. At Arnott Capital, Steve was an options market maker before progressing to Portfolio Manager, an Equity Partner and a Member of Anott’s Risk Committee. Steve’s experience includes equity, currency, futures and options trading and portfolio management, in various markets globally.

Steve has a Masters in Applied Finance, from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from Wollongong University.

Credit Portfolio Manager

Aman Singh

Aman has 20 years’ experience in rates/investment grade fixed income markets having worked as a market maker for various banks before joining Three Bridge Capital in 2021. Aman started his career in 2001 on the graduate programme at HSBC, where he rotated across various parts of the investment bank before being recruited onto the US treasury trading desk in London where he focused on the short end of the rates curve. Within a year he was promoted to being the sole US$ agency/Eurobond trader where he was integral part of making the firm a top tier presence in that space. In 2010 he was headhunted by BAML as a Director to focus on expanding their market share in US$ Agency space. In the years following, Aman took a career break where he successfully managed his own money employing a strategy using equity options. He holds an Undergraduate Economics degree from University of Birmingham and an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick.

Operations

Odilia Putri

Odilia joined Three Bridge in 2021 and is responsible for operations, settlements and financial reporting.

Prior to joining Three Bridge, Odilia completed an internship program in one of the largest government-owned banks in Indonesia.

Odilia has a BSc of Applied Business Mathematics from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.
